Why We’re Excited About Our New Studio

The Location

You’ll find us in the perfect West Berkeley pocket on San Pablo; right between Lavender Bakery, the Post Office, and Heads & Tails BBQ. Think Saturday sweat followed by a latte and ricotta toast, a Friday night class with your bestie before happy hour, or a weekday package return before a little well-deserved self-care.

The Format

We’re bringing the same signature Power Pilates method on the XFORMER that you know and love from our El Cerrito studio; now with an exciting addition. West Berkeley will be the first studio in the Bay Area to offer Power Pilates: Mat Strength.

Created by world-renowned fitness instructor Piper Yi (the mind behind our Slow Resistance Training method), Mat Strength blends Pilates-inspired movements with cardio for a full-body, music-driven workout, all on the mat. It’s dynamic, energizing, and designed to push you in all the right ways.

More Room to Move

Finding a space that let us welcome more clients while still keeping classes intentionally small was a must. Our new, light-filled studio will house 14 XFORMER stations, allowing us to maintain the hands-on, personal attention you expect, just with a little more room to grow.
