OUR CLASSES
Each class has been thoughtfully designed to help meet you where you are, instructors are prepared to help you ramp up your class or scale back as needed.
While beginners are welcome in our signature Power Pilates class, we encourage you to try foundations first to set you up for the most success. Please notify your instructor if you are pregnant or injured. Grip socks are required in all classes without exception.
Power Pilates Foundations xformer
Foundations is a great introduction to Plank + Power’s method combining Pilates with strength and cardio. These classes move slower, emphasize understanding of form and on the foundational moves that you can use to build on as you continue your practice. With that said, foundation classes still bring the heat! Prepare to listen to your body to scale up or down as needed. If you are new, you MUST show up 10 minutes prior to the start of class.
Power Pilates xformer
Our signature class! These classes can have quicker transitions, more variations, and will introduce advanced movements. If you've never taken a class using an XFORMER, we recommend clients take at least 3 'Foundations' classes prior to High Intensity Pilates.
Power Pilates HIIT xformer
A 45 minute high intensity endurance workout on the XFORMER with an added cardio element. These classes will have quicker transitions, more variations, and high intensity movements on OR off the machine. A non traditional XFORMER class, we recommend taking a Foundational or Power Pilates class first before trying this one, so you are comfortable and familiar with the machine first!
Power Pilates mat (available in berkeley)
Our 45-minute full-body Power Pilates Mat class is designed to strengthen, stretch, and challenge your body - all set to the beat of the music!
We’ll begin with mobility-focused warm-ups, then move into higher-intensity moves that build the heat, challenge your core stability and help you build full-body endurance. Class will finish with a nourishing cool down to leave you feeling restored.
Some (but not all) classes will include props such as:
Light weights (2-3 lbs)
Heavier weights (10-12 lbs)
Booty bands
Yoga Blocks
Gentle Flow + Recovery Stretch
A low impact 45 minute class of full body stretching on or off the XFORMER. These classes, unlike our classic Power Pilates or Foundational classes, will not have quick transitions but focus solely on recovery for the body and stretching. A non-traditional XFORMER class, we recommend taking a few Foundational or Power Pilates classes first before trying this one, so you are comfortable and familiar with the machine first and have a feel for the classic classes we offer.
